Kency Cornejo y su investigación sobre Artistas en Resistencia

Five years ago I was in Honduras with the artists who brought together people in protest of the 2009 Honduran coup and the violent military repression that has followed since. They organized and resisted through interdisciplinary arts as the collective Artistas en Resistencia. My brief historical description and a thread of conversations with members poet Fabricio Estrada, artists Lucy Argueta and Jorge Oqueli, and theater director Tito Antonio Ochoa Camacho. (gracias a ustedes!) is finally published in this new book Collective Situations: Readings in Contemporary Latin American Art , 1995-2010, edited by Bill Kelley Jr and Grant H. Kester (gracias!).
